Exact same run as yesterday except I took my iPod which made me run it 30 seconds per mile faster than yesterday.  Today was suppose to be a speed workout day but I have decided to abandon all speed workouts since they seem to cause bodily harm.

Noticed I was at 7:01 avg pace at the 6 mile turn around which means I averaged 6:21 coming back, not to shabby.

Another beautiful morning.

12 miles in 1:20:30 6:42 avg pace.

Great run!! So what will you do instead of speed work? Tempo runs?

At this point I figure my best bet is to just show up at the start line un-injured. If I can gain some fitness and endurance along the way that's a plus. I'm not going to get the time I wanted but I'm sure if I can just stay healthy I can get a good PR.
