Back to the office gym today, I decided it's not all that bad, the treadmill is a bit clunky but it goes, I have the whole room to myself and the showers are really nice.  I would like to have some free weights though.

I've decided to bump my daily mileage to 7, mainly because now I can run 7 in about the same time it took me to run 6, 8 weeks ago.  Fitness is coming slowly back, I'm still sickenly overwieght, and my glute and foot still have some pain but usually they don't hurt during my run just towards the end of the day for some reason.

nice progress. glad things are improving.

one of my biggest gripes about my work -- no showers. i've told them i'm a runner and they won't accommodate me. whatev.

Yeah, my work has very nice showers and either someone cleans them daily or they just never get used.

When you told them you were a runner did they looked shocked or did they give you a medal just for showing up?

i told them to build the showers and then fill them with medals and trophies. i also told them the showers need to spew gatorade. they aren't listening.
