I went and tried out Golds gym this morning and all I can say is, what a horrible place. I know it's mostly because I've been spoiled at Lifetime and I guess at 1/6th the price Lifetime isn't 600% better but I'm not sure what to do now. I do want a gym for the winter and Golds is the closest option to my new office but the place is just kind of gross. Hot, stinky, crowded, and the treadmills are stacked right on top of each other. I just can't even imagine what that place is like on January 2nd.
Anyway, all that being said I may sign up anyway. My work has a deal with Orem Rec center which I may go try out tomorrow to compare but it's further away and if it's like most community Rec centers it's not any better.
