My new bike is awesome, I love the new electronic shifting.  25 miles with my old bike group.  I'm amazed they still let me ride with them since I always ditch them for months on end and then just show up expecting to go for a ride.  We had a lot of fun, fairly easy ride but with lots of hills, I need to get my bike legs back.

What's with the bike thing?

From Rob on Sat, Aug 11, 2012 at 15:08:01 from 204.15.86.95

Well, my plan back fired on me today. I wanted to start biking to try an keep my fitness up for running and not get hurt. Well, today on my second ride ever on my fancy new bike I wrecked it and got beat up pretty bad.

You have clearly angered the running gods.

I'm not sure the running gods ever really cared much for me. Or the biking gods for that matter. The sitting around watching Olympic ribbon throwing gods seem to approve.

Yes! Dancing around with ribbons and hula hoops absolutely must be an Olympic sport.

I have to admit my kids and I have had great fun the last couple weeks discussing what should and shouldn't be an Olympic sport. Baseball - clearly no. Ping Pong - absolutely.
