I haven't mentioned it before cause I was trying to pretend it wasn't real but after my little 140 mpw, ending with a treadmill marathon stunt my right shin has been causing me grief.  I've just been running through it and eventually it goes away after about 10 minutes but this morning I decided it was to much and I succumbed to the pain and did the Arc Trainer at the hotel gym instead.

45 minutes on the Arc with backwards handles followed by 20 minutes of weights and stretching.  Hopefully I can get done with work early today and get an afternoon workout in.

P.M.  30 minutes on the Arc again before heading to bed.

Hoping for the best for you Rob, and like Allie said, its nothing that a little rest and ice won't take care of. You pushed it to a new level there for a couple weeks, and ran a heck of a treadmill marathon... do a little cross training, the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself if given the chance (and a little luck).

Thanks guys, I don't think it's a stress fracture due to the fact it goes away after running on it, and I can pass the ever so scientific hop test.

Jake- Have you ever tried to find Ice in Europe? If you ask for ice in your soda they bring you one little cube with a pair of tongs :) I love to fill my hotel tub up with ice and take ice baths on business trips but it just isn't possible here for some reason. I guess they haven't caught up to our superior refrigerant technology yet.

That would be pretty annoying. When I ask for ice, I want a 20 pound bag!
