There is a really nice path that runs along the river here in Sao Paulo, the map shows it being 16km long,  I've been really wanting to try running on it since I was here last December, well my Co-Workers and I walked and walked yesterday trying to figure out how to get to it, turns out there are only 2 places to access it both at train stations, and you have to have a bike to go on it.  What kind of trail only allows bikes?  What is it the Alta of trails.  So anyway, I don't really see anywhere else to run in this crazy town so I went to the hot humid hotel gym this morning.  8 miles in 63 minutes, leg was sore but completely runable.

Isn't that annoying?! I tried to figure that out for days and just gave up. I ran either at Ibirapuera Park or there is a park off the subway station Cidade Jardim that has a 0.9 mile loop that I went to - http://g.co/maps/vy6m7.

That Park is only 1/2 mile from my Hotel, where did you stay? My problem is I only have time to run at 5:00am and I don't want to get lost in the Dark. I'm just Chicken!

That's so ridiculous - cyclists already get their own lane in Sugar House park, and now they have their own trail in Brazil!! For days and days I kept looking at google maps and telling Andrea "just run on the path by the river!" Now we know why that was never a possibility.

Yeah stupid thing, they wont even let you through without a bike. I guess I could find a broken down bike on the side of the road and carry it through and just start running :)
