Tried to make up for Saturdays failed progressive run, I started getting a side cramp again but was able to work through it today.  Started at 8:00 pace ended at 6:00 pace for an average 7:01, go figure.  12 miles in 1:24:15.

Here is a chart showing who the runner up to Lance Armstrong was in every major finish since 1998.  If they have an asterick next to their name they have been caught doping to some extent.  Every Tour De France winner since 1996 has since been proven a doper.  It's pretty sad.  I'm not sure how they can strip Lance of his titles and not everyone else.

I don't think anyone should dope, but if you're going to strip one person his first place position because of it you should treat anyone else caught doing it the same. I think it's lame that they seem to have singled lance out!! Nice run by the way.

They're basically just pretending 1999-2005 didn't happen... no one else is being declared the winner, which I think is the right call. You'd probably have to go down the finisher's list to 143rd place to find a guy who wasn't cheating.

Nice run this morning Rob! I completely agree with what you and Carina are saying. I definitely don't agree with what Lance did and am not trying to defend him but at the same time why is he being targeted so hard when everyone was cheating. It is just sad and unfortunate altogether and the publicity surrounding it all has gotten way out of control in my opinion. There are people doing amazing things in the sports world that are being overshadowed because this seems to be all there talking about lately.

I agree that everyone should be punished fairly... but NO ONE was exploiting how "clean" they were like Lance and making a hundred million dollars off of it. And he was the ringleader behind the whole doping scheme! Also, no one cares if the guy who finished 15th get banned. If change is going to come, they have to make an example of the top guys. Its the same in every sport.

I say this as a guy who used to have a stuffed lion hanging from his car and would paint GO LANCE on his car every summer. He played everyone like a violin. I don't feel sorry for him. He cheated.

I definitely agree with what you are saying Jake and I appreciate your perspective. I guess I am really just sick of hearing about it. It seems like they've been talking about it for ages now.

I have a Moose hanging from my mirror and a bumper sticker that says Go Jake.

I think the problem is the UIC is just as corrupt as anyone they are trying to govern. They've obviously been getting "donations" for years to keep their mouths shut.

Oh yeah, UCI is definitely not the hero in all of this. They were a MAJOR part of the problem!
