Well, I got to see my family for about 6 hours last night for the month. Had a 7:00am flight this morning (I'm using GoGo In flight service right now) So I was up at 3:30am and on the treadmill by 4:10. Figured today was a perfect day to run a fast sub 1 hour 10 miler since I was in a hurry. Didn't really feel up to it but did it anyway and feel good for it now. Pretty nervous about getting my training in in New Orleans for the next 2 weeks, anyone have experience running there? Is it safe to run early in the morning there? I was thinking last night if there was any place in the US. I would least rather go to for 2 weeks than New Orleans. Philidelphia and Detroit were the only other ones I could come up with. Anyway, good hard run. Probably my second or third fastest 10 miler ever, and the other times were either downhill, or I cheated and put the treadmill on negative incline for part of it. Didn't do that today. HR monitor was packed in my suitcase, I wish I would have had it.
