10 minutes on the elliptical, 2.?? miles on the treadmill until it died on me, then I went down to the track and ran 24 laps for a total of 6 miles running.  Finished the last lap with a nice sprint.

I finally saw a doctor about my hamstring, it only took me 9 months.  Anyway, he told me that it seems I have a pretty severe tear in my one of my (technical word) hamstring muscles.  He seems to think it will require surgery to fix it.  I'm a little up in the air about that because it's obviously getting better on it's own since I can actually kind of run again so the question is at this point what would put me out longer, surgery or natures course.  I suppose I'll go get an MRI someday, I just hate the whole doctor thing.

Probably depends on where the tear is, right? Like if its torn near an attachment point, it wouldn't heal on its own... but since you are able to run and its getting better, that probably isn't the case.

Just think of the MRI as a robot-tube-doctor, not a real human one.

That doesn't help, have you seen Terminator, or 2 or 3?

This is why I hate trying to go to doctors, I have $1800 unused dollars in my flex account from my old job that I forgot to use but I went to schedule an appointment and my doctor doesn't accept my new jobs insurance. They make it so hard. I'm signing up for Obamacare maybe that will help.

Hippie!

Aren't those 2 the same? Taking natures course and signing up for Obamacare?

Have I seen Terminator 2? That's insulting. T2 defined my childhood. I watched it for the first time when I was like 6 years old. Still one of my favorite movies of all time.

If I had a choice between a VHS of T2 or a $10000 credit to use on the Obamacare website, that would be an easy pick.

I saw Rambo on Betamax when I was 8. I couldn't figure out how to rewind it without watching the entire movie in reverse. I still have nightmares about it.

When you say lolz, does that mean you laugh out loud and then suddenly fall asleep?

This Obamacare sounds iffy, but I am all for the Affordable Care Act!

I had to Google Official Monster Raving Loony Party. I thought you made that up.

But you're married to a Brit so that makes sense now.

Insurance is not the problem, so fixing insurance is not the solution. The problem is that we need insurance. The fact that healthcare costs so much money that no one can afford it is insane. My parents never had insurance, if someone was sick we went to the doctor and paid him.

Sounds like we need to go back in time and change the future before the machines take control!
