3 loops around Disney, once by myself, once with my wife and once with my son.  He is getting in really good shape, he said his goal is top 10 in age group in the Turkey Trot, and top 3 in the Running with the Tigers 5K next spring.  Hopefully they have better age groups at the Turkey trot this year.  Last year it was 19 and under.

19 and under is sort of a ridiculous range. Especially in a 5K... there are way more 16-18 yr olds who run 15:XX 5Ks than open/adult runners. It would be more fair for your son to compete in the 30-40 yr old group.

Yeah, we were a bit annoyed last year. And they didn't post ages to try and figure out our own age groups.

FYI I mentioned to him that I may try and trick you into pacing the 6th graders at the Running with the Tigers next April. Allie paced the kindergarten kids this year and just look what it did for her racing this year.

You don't have to trick me. If I can help, I will. Have they set a 2014 date yet? I'll put it as the first entry on my 2014 race schedule.

Awesome, I don't know the date, this year it was the week before Boston.
