45 minutes on the elliptical trainer, tried to keep my HR at 140, 30 minutes of weights.
Starting to feel a little better, maybe 1 more day off and then an easy run on Thursday to see how things are.

Rob, Sorry that you are feeling so rotten lately. From experience you may feel ok but I think if you kept things just really easy like 8 min pace or so for the next week or two you may be surprised. I just think it was a combo of too many miles too fast too soon without enough recovery man. Your still a young one in terms of your running age which is good though. I myself am in a transition phase along with also pushing things a bit much:) Just a thought or two.. Does it help?

Well that's good news cause you're a pretty awesome athlete.
I'm really not feeling terrible, I just have a slightly pulled groin muscle, I could run on it but last year I pulled a muscle in my shin, kept running through it and really paid the price at TOU. I told myself this year that I wanted to run injury free, I'm really annoyed cause things were going so well, my body was responding well, I was noticably getting faster then 'BAM" this happened. Maybe next time I'll learn not to try speed work on a 90+ hour work week, with a cold.
Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it.
