5:00 am.  Nothing special, just an easier than normal steady run.  I'm paying the price for my little 5 min/mile stunt I did on Monday, nothing bad just sore in the calves and hamstrings, it just feels like I did a hard leg workout but I sure hope it's gone by Saturday.  Ran my last 1/2 mile in 2:50 just to remind myself what 5:40 pace felt like.

8 miles in 53:45 6:43 avg.

lots of fast running this week. are you getting ready for a shorter race?

Allie, I'm running the Just Cuz 1/2 in Idaho on Saturday but more cause I felt jipped out of the Halloween 1/2 than anything.

I am taking advantage of not training for anything right now to work on re-programming my body into thinking that faster speeds are the norm, so I am running much shorter runs but much faster. The thought is that when I start training for Ogden in January I will do my normal/easy runs faster and when I crash during a marathon I will crash to a faster pace.
