Just great! yesterday afternoon I started feeling a head cold coming on, you know that feeling when you know its coming and it's coming fast and there is nothing you can do about it except start drinking Emergen-C by the gallon. So all night I had a hard time sleeping with a stuffy head, got up went to the gym and just decided to ignore it and try and sweat it out. Probably not a great idea but seriously, is anything I do in my training a good idea? I run most of my miles at close to marathon pace in a pair of holy shoes with over 1500 miles on them and then I go sit in the hot tub after every run. Running hard with a head cold is the least of my worries. Anyway I think It actually worked, I feel much better now. Now lets see how the rest of the day goes. 9 miles in 57:50 6:25 avg pace.
