My left hip started out hurting a bit this morning and I thought "oh great, now I did it, I made it this far went and did speed work and broke it again"  after about 1 mile though it loosened up and felt fine the rest of the run so I think I'm OK,  I'll just take it easy for the next couple of days.

Wicked headwind going out to the GG bridge this morning but that was OK cause I knew that meant wicked tailwind coming back.  Held a 6:30 pace on the way back without a whole lot of effort.

12 miles in 1:25:12  7:06 avg pace.

i thought that i had rebroken my leg after every 5k this summer -- it's definitely a valid concern. nice job getting through your workout yesterday. i'm glad your hip felt okay after warming up today. i'm sure it's fine. i *think* my leg is fine, but i am feeling it this week more than ever. i keep telling myself it's just in my mind...:/

It's very strange, anytime I feel pain from a hard run it is in the hip that was broken. It always just feels like muscle pain but I'm sure there has to be some relation.

Take care of that hip my friend. I cant wait to see what you can do in the marathon as a healthy runner. And running on the Golden Gate Bridge, are you serious? I'm so jealous!
