Sitting in my fancy new cube with an awesome view of downtown Salt Lake and Parleys canyon.  Excited to try out some new lunch running routes up the cottonwood canyons.  

5:00 am, Yesterdays run beat me up quite a bit more than I thought it had, I was pretty sore and slow going this morning, did 10 minutes on the eliptical just to loosen up, then did 7 miles in 45:04 on the treadmill 6:26 avg pace.

Where downtown are you? If you want to run trails you've got more than you can count within a couple miles of you. If you want to travel slightly further south to the canyons there are a number of trails down here too.

If you want road running then try Emigration and City Creek, both very close to downtown and beautiful.

I regularly do lunchtime trail running. If you're interested, let me know.

My office is at the base of big cottonwood canyon, across the freeway from Old Mill Golf course. I just have a view of the city not in it. But hey, I'm up for lunch time runs anywhere, especially with this weather.
