Boy, I'm pretty hammered today.  Legs actually felt really good this morning for having just run 30 miles yesterday, but overall I'm just pretty fatigued.   Nice morning for a run, pretty chilly at first but then it felt nice.

12 miles on dirt trails in my minimus trail shoes, my feet hurt now.

I took this picture in Rio last week, anyone want to meet here for a track workout?

I was going to take the day off but then I read somewhere on the 'internet' that you should do 2 long runs back to back days when training for an Ultra. 12 miles was about as "long" as I could handle.

that actually makes a lot of sense to me... you need to be able to run when you are fatigued and feeling broken if you are going to race for 50-100 miles

ha that's the same picture Andrea sent me from her first weekend there to make me jealous!

Rob, I'm doing the Bighorn 50K and was just wondering if anyone on the blog would be there. Looking at the list of entrants, Rob from Lehi looked familiar and lo and behold, you were on the recent entry list on FRB. Not sure if I'll see you on the route, but good luck. Looks like your training is spot on and very impressive. I'm aiming for the 50M possibly next year.

Cool Russ, I didn't know anyone else on the Blog that was doing the BigHorn either. I'm glad I found someone, I'll look for you!

I'm in for meeting you at that track. I even speak Portuguese, so we could have some fun on the town. You good to cover transportation and lodging expenses???

Yep Scott, I've got it covered. Travel agent says it's a really nice apartment style hotel with a view of the ocean.
