Pretty happy with my run this morning, more because I did it than anything.  I've been skipping some of my workouts lately and substituting for miles just due to not feeling good and not wanting to get hurt.  Workout called for a 4 mile LT run, I went into it thinking 5:40 pace sounded good, I really had no reason to think I could actually run that pace it just sounded nice.  Turned out 5:40 was more terminal velocity than sustainable pace, more I think because of my hamstring than my actual fitness.   Anyway, I got through it, pretty happy with it since the last time I did an LT run I couldn't even break 6:00 pace.  I don't think I've gotten that much faster in that time, I just wasn't feeling very good last time.  I think today's run is more indicative of my current fitness, not spectacular, but not horrible either.

6 mile progressive warmup, stretch and water break, 4 mile tempo, 2 mile cool down.

4 miles @ LT is never an easy workout, in fact its usually very hard. And if ~5:50 pace is your threshold, that suggests ~1:17ish HM capability, which is in your PR range. So, that's a good run!

Thanks Jake, I was going to go find a conversion chart but got busy. It felt good to run fast again, in ways I feel I'm in better shape than I was even in my PR days, just different. I think my top end speed is slower but endurance is much much better.
