I know, I need to get more actual road miles in. But due to the nasty blizzard that's going on outside (according to the weatherman) Ryan and I cancelled our run this morning.That's OK, I really wanted to get this marathon pace run in. I didn't do it last week, and next week I'm going to be very busy so I don't know what will happen. It was pretty hard, had a bunch of different leg pains going on but it wasn't horrible. 8 mile progressive warmup, then a 10 mile marathon pace tempo. I think I'd be better off just running it flat pace than trying to average out, but that's boring. 6:15 pace was OK much faster got pretty hard. I'm happy with the run, I'd hope to get my HR down about 5-7 bpm for that pace by marathon day. I had to do a treadmill reset at 9.5 miles which was totally lame.
