Ran the Traverse Mountain 5K route today marking and clearing the course, it's going to be really hot for those kids today.

I don't think I every want to plan a race again.  I used Race Splitter on the iPad for timing last year and it was a mess, this year I built my own timing program, I hope it works better.

i'm with you on both race planning and race splitter. it's all kind of a nightmare. :)

see you soon.

You're the best allie.

Oh, by the way, I gave you Bib # 1 cause I think its rude they always start you with 5001.

I'd be more impressed if you built your own iPad.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it down today. I wish I would have done that instead of being in the office. I could have taught the kids about Tim Noakes and how you don't need to drink just because it's hot out :-)

Jake, I doubt you could compete with the fire truck.

There's always next year, even though I said I'd never do that again.

you did a great job. i'm very impressed with how organized everything was and how smoothly it all went.

your timing system was cool and i bet it will work great with a smaller crowd and less chute traffic. that guy keying in the numbers for the manual system was a wizard. i would have messed that up within one minute.

thanks for the fun distraction. i'm back at work now and everything is so dull...

When he showed up and told me he took a 10 key class in High School I knew he was my guy.

Thanks again allie.

Here are the results. I can't post names because of some privacy law but it's interesting to see how fast little kids are. We're still verifying the 22 minute 2nd grade girl, but I think for the most part the top times are close

Ummmm...you might want to keep Jake away from those kids. Don't drink water when it's hot out? That guy's lost too many brain cells from not drinking enough water when it's hot out.
