Today's workout was all uphill.  Started on the treadmill at 5% incline, after 1.5 miles I got really bored with that and decided to try something new so I went to the stair master (the kind with the actual stairs that go around and around) I wanted to see what all the rage was.  Being on my toes the whole time really helped with my heel pain but I can tell my calves are going to be screaming tomorrow.

200 floors in 35 minutes, followed by weights.  The tallest building in the World only has 163 floors, the Empire States Building has 102.  So I climbed the Empire state building twice according to the machine.

I think a stair master is one of the best cross training workouts. I like the type with the individual "foot paddles" not the actual stairs. I'm always slipping and landing awkwardly on those.

Pretty impressive Rob!

Thanks Rachelle, but I really don't think it was that impressive. About the same anyone would do after 35 minutes on the machine. I was just curious how it compared to actual stairs :)

Yeah Rob, there were a few times I felt like I was going to loose a toe cause I stepped to far in. I definitely would have been better served finding a really steep mountain to climb instead.
