8 easy miles in 1:05.  8:07 avg pace.

I told myself I'd retire my 5th pair of Nike Free's when I got 1000 miles out of them.  Well, I hit exactly 1000 miles today so I guess I need to go to the shoe store.  I think I'll get myself some Nike Free's.  Maybe the 3.0's this time.

P.M. 4 miles on the track during Bradins soccer practice. Trying to keep something in the tank for tomorrow's workout but honestly I'm not sure there is much left. I'm spent.

Good thing there is a Nike store 3 minutes away!! Sounds like my kind of running :)

I went to that Nike store last night and couldn't find anything I liked. Their color selection is poor.

That's cool you do well in the free's. I don't. They make the inside of my foot hurt.

1000 miles on a shoe is impressive.

It's nice cause I know what shoes to go buy, but I wish I could find something else I like. The Kinvara's are my second choice.

Way to maximize the shoes Rob. Running warehouse has ane extra 25% off all of they're liquidation shoes right now and I think there might be some frees on sale. There is a code on the facebook page.

Yeah Rob, get some liquid shoes!

Not recommended for trail running.

i was DQ'ed from the london marathon in '87 for wearing liquid shoes.

i loved the nike frees until they started changing the design every 3 months. i haven't found anything as great as the 5.0...which i ran in until the backs blew out. i have the 3.0 and they are okay, but the color scheme is dumb and that's a big deal.

I bet it was the diapers more than the shoes.

From allie on Thu, Mar 14, 2013 at 18:23:59 from 97.126.223.164

diapers what. as far as i know, diapers are legal in marathons. at least they are in TOU.

anyway -- why isn't 'diapers' censored?
