Embarrising admission here but I joined a neighborhood weightloss pool at the start of the year.  Because yes, I got fat over the past 4 years.  Funny enough this challange seems to have done the trick to get my butt back in gear, so far I'm down 18lbs since January 2nd and am in first place in the neighborhood pool :).  I just hope I can keep it up, I really want to be in as good of shape as I was 4 years ago.  My goal for the year is to qualify for 2018 Boston.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, balancing the demands of life is tough. You are taking the steps you can to keep your balance. I call this challenge my "5 F's": Faith, Family, Fitness, Function and Friends. All take time, commitment and focus and this can vary on importance over our daily lives. Be gracious with yourself and just keep taking positive steps.

Thanks Jeff, good advice. How have you been?

You're right life is really busy, I'm so excited to be injury free finally, I hope I can find the balance.
